CHARGED WITH A 50B or 50C? Women will often make up false accusations against men to gain an advantage in family court especially as it relates to custody issues. This could include claiming domestic violence where none exists. The police will often err on the side of caution and bring charges because its easier to protect the woman and let the courts sort it out. He said she said means nothing way too often. 

You may live in a harmonious home with a woman for  years where no anger or threats of violence existed. Once it becomes clear you are splitting up, assume she carriers a voice recorder with her everywhere and will try to provoke you into threatening her trying to catch a moment of weakness on tape to get that advantage. If that does not work, don't assume she wont make something up.
